Default Playing a hand when you know you are going to lose

Has anyone been dealt their hole cards and thought straight away "I'm going to lose a lot of money this hand"?

I played this hand a while back, can't remember the number thats why no graphics, on pokerroom $25-$50 NL real money and got dealt pocket kings (both black) in late position.

When I was dealt the hand I had this feeling I was going to lose a lot of money with it.

I had about $1400 in chips and was in late position a raise of $200 came to me, so I re-raised to $600 and he put me all in. I called.

I knew this guy didn't have a great hand as I had played against him a lot of times before and he just like to bully people out of pots.

Flop came 5h,10h,2c
Turn Jh
River 3h

He flipped his cards over to show Ac,9h, I was pissed. His reply to this was he thought he would bet me out of the pot!

Suppose I should have trusted my instincts and folded preflop.

I always seem to know when I'm going to get sucked out on. I just get this feeling on the turn that one of my opponenets 2 outs is coming down the river.

It depends on how I play the hands as to where I think I will be outdrawn.

I adapted my play after too many outdraws and decided with A,A or K,K it was all in straight away. I would rather get $5 from those hands than slow play them, get outdrawn and lose hundreds.

I'm not talking about the way I play the hands, I'm just talking about a feeling I get (on the flop or the turn.) I'll get all my money in with the best hand, the guy will turn over something like top pair and backdoor flush draw and I'll just know he's going to make his flush.

Sorry I wasn't implying about how you play the hands. I just always get a feeling with big hands preflop. I know when I will win them and I know when I will lose them, but I still play them.

Stupid I know.

Default de ja vu for me

Well buddy, I felt ur pain 2 days ago..I also hadd kk in middle with two guys behind me..The calling station calls me all in with ak-off for $303 with only $125 in the pot(hello what happened to a price-out)...But in your situation its even worse, you put in a legitimate raise and the donkey re-raised you all in..Im sorry but i dont accept the reasoning that he tried to price you out...He should of respected the re-raise and put you on a made hand..re-raising you all in is a tell -tale trait of a hyper-aggresive idiot with not too much logic..You really got unlucky, but in my opinion you played it perfect and just got outdrawn horribly...

I don't believe what he said either.

I have 2 ideas as to why he made the re-raise. The first is because he had just received a big bonus from the site. (This was when pokerroom offered Royal Money 100x Big Blind) Therefore meaning he felt lucky and would be able to outdraw me, and not be too bothered about losing.

The other is that he is one of these people that love hands with an ace in.

The good thing was he helped me make a lot of money next time I was at the table with him. He kept raising, and I would just call and raise on the flop. I had nothing everytime, I just knew that I could outplay him.

Well, I have been known to "feed the fish" as we call it (intentionally lose a hand). But never a large amount. Usually just enough to keep them from getting up and leaving or losing hope and not putting more greenbacks on the table to reload. If you continually just farm the tourists, they tend to get all crazy-like at roughly the point where they've given up 3 mortgage payments or enough to buy a new Hyundai.

But then again, I spend all day grinding either 50-100 or 100-200 cash limit games, whereas you seem to be talking about the no limit lifestyle--something I'm admittedly not terribly comfortable with, though I do alright with it.
