Watch me donk it up!!

Last night it was NL at my local casino. Usually I do pretty well at this place, but for some reason last night I was just donkin it up left and right.

Let's start with the only hand I was steamed at:

I was in LP w/ QQ. I have like 25 of my 40 dollar buy in left (it's a max 40 dollar buy in night). I raise it up to like 10, knowing that I will get a raise behind me from at least one player.

One other player raises it up another 5, then a second raise behind him, raises it an other 10. I figure this is my best spot to go AI. I push, both call.

Flop comes a low ragged, 3 diamond board. Turn is a blank. River is another diamond....hey I hit a bd flush draw.

We flip over and I get beat by KJo....you guessed it, he had a king high flush. HOW DO YOU CALL 25 dollars W/ KJo in EP? I was pretty steamed.

Now for my donk play of the week (I made this one).

I'm on the button w/ AKo, I make it 10 to go, the blind player raises up another 10. We get 1 caller and I call. Flop comes all clubs, I have the K of clubs, so I am on a FD. I check, hoping to see a free card. The other player makes it 5, BB makes it 10.

For some damn reason, I decide to go all in. I put the BB on either total rags (as he had pushed me off pots w/ similar sized bets before) or he was on 2 pair. The other guy folds. BB flips over pocket rockets w/ the Ace of clubs.

What the hell was I thinking? He had me covered and I went home.

u sure the guy that called with king jack off wasnt the same guy that doubled up against hellmuth and hellmuth proceeded to rip him with the best quote ever

1- no donkage here, you played like a pro
10 - HEE HAW! HEE HAW! A REAL donkey would haved played this hand better.

I'm thinking like a 9.9 - Not a 10, because the real life donkey would have got kicked out of the game for shitting on the floor or his constant braying.

not sure i push there with the bb so aggresive and not hitting my hand on the flop, with the min raise sounds like he wants action...at least thats the theory around here at pfo with a min raise

infact i it helps me figure it out myself...maybe next time dont post the results too

so if im in this same situation in the future i will be better for it
