Ever since I joined
partypoker a strange thing has been happening. The first time I played, I had some jackass chase his pocket 7's to the river (calling raises ALL the way) and crack my top two pair. I went on tilt and blew 20 bucks. Then it was a slow process of getting that buy in back. I had some nice runs and some cold spots.
Whenever it seems that I would have a good positive session, the next one, I couldn't BUY good pocket cards. If by some f'in miracle I found some, I would totally miss flops. Top two pair? Sorry pal, the board has 4 cards to a flush! AKs (or any good suited cards) totally diffrent suit hits the board (not 1 or 2, but 3).
Now i finally got my 20 dollar buy in back and more and guess what happens? The coldest run of cards EVER. I couldn't find any good starting cards. If I did I missed flops. Most memorable? My pocket queens got beat by pocket jacks on a jack high board (it happens). next hand, my pocket aces get cracked by a 1 card straight (pocket sixes).
I am starting to believe in the
partypoker DOOM switch.
Actually this is just a rant thread about variance of bankrolls, cards, and flops.
