If you have the availibility, take your $ off Stars and find a place that has micro limits. I tend to tell people Stars just becaus I've played there quite a bit. Plus the have .01/.02 NL tables and .02/.04 limit, so there is a possiblity that with a few bucks you can build there.

You should have raised more on the flop.

Move your money to stars they have nice micro limit tables. A decent player can make some good money.

Sounds like its time for you to hit the books. You'd be surprised how much a good book on Poker can improve your game.

Aces has got it right. The other guy is a calling station but you gave him every opportunity to call and then put your chips in when behind.

Very few bad beats are entirely the fault of the other guy.

I dont post detailed advice in the river rats section. If people want detailed advice they were posting under strategy.

It is no ones fault but his own that he lost this hand. I am not going to indulge him.

the first step is admitting you have a problem.

if you don't think you donked this hand, you have a big problem and should not be playing NL with more than 20bbs on the table.

I am a donkey at big stack NL, so I avoid it.

maybe jack it up a bit more, personally i make it 1.25$, maybe a little w/ images etc...

FLop, bet pot. only 22,33,88 have you and the chances of that are low

turn, grow some balls and bet again. unless someon smoothecalled the flop w/ QQ, this turn is almost irrelevant. Here i bet pot again.

river; you HH is weird so i dont know. if you wanna pin someone on a hand that would call flop/turn, overbet river 8x is deefinately a candidate.

utg had a 46$ stack, which to me tells that he is decent, and will get his money in with hot hands.

lastly; look @ the hand from the other players side; Im not sure you convinced him that you have a strong hand. Deffinately your turn conveyed a weak image w/ the 60% pot bet.

DUDE, the passiveness on this hand is downright killing me..
PF - RAISE THAT SHIT SO HARD.. dont do a cheesy ass 3-4xBB raise. u pretty much got the whole fken table limping in here.. jack that shit up to at least $2.25 pf.. with the fact that u have a deep stack at that table, im jacking it up to no less then $3 PF.

Flop - pot that shit.
Turn - if flop is called then bet 80% of pot on turn.

bad luck, yes, but bet more! pf, flop, and turn bets are all weak.

eclipse, yes! when so many people limp pf, you are just juicing the pot for everyone to call! some days at the casino i have to raise 10-20 X the big blind in order to get 1/2 callers because the entire table limps EVERY hand!

I agree here..for some reason ppl play deep stack on loose tables, get AA and raise 4bb because Skalansky told them to.. AA on a loose table is as hard preflop as u can get the call (it helps if you remove implied odd for the trip). Stop messing around with 4bb ...
