Default Bubbled through sheer bad luck!

Was in a $30 tourny down to the last 49 and top 48 get paid. I get delt AA and i get raised preflop so i decide to move all in hoping for a call.

I get my call and he turns over KQ unsuited for some mad reason. Flop comes 38A and there are 2 hearts - neither of my aces are hearts but his Q is. The client im using (Eurobet) shows his odds, 4% (doesn't account for all the otehr flush cards used) and all he's drawing to is runner runner flush. Surprise surprise he makes it. I was 4th in chips at this time and i was taken out by the guy who was 1st in chips. He got so lucky and made a very stupid call with KQ, must've put me on a bluff or something but his luck was incredible and i couldn't get over it.

If i had won i would have been a massive chip leader and would have easily made it to the final table without any stupid mistakes.

What was your stack? What was his?

If he was a big chip holder I might have called a short stack too at the off chance of knocking out another player. Plus if you are shortstacked he my very well have 2 overs on you. Unlucky but not necessarily a bad call without knowing the rest of the info.

If I have a massive chipstack in a tournament and I have suited KQ and its me and him, I'm calling shortstacks all in without even questioning it.... Bad beat, not really, un-lucky, yes!

Thanks for the love Beav...

So maybe it was a bad beat, but depending on the chipstacks and such 9/10 times in a situation like that an all in is going to get called, and he lost the the race... I've had my AA cracked like that too many times to count in tournaments, just part of the game...

He said he was fourth in chips, with 49 left. I doubt he was TOO shortstacked.

10-handed and someone out of position with 4th biggest stack of chips goes all in.. You're an idiot to call with KQ simple as.

He must've had about 70k of chips and average was 15k and i had around 50-55k. I really don't know what made him do that.. mayb a mis click or something but it was a bad decision for sure but he got paid off for it.. oh well. I tend not to feel so bad if i made the right play and just got outdrawn or whatever

Yeah, if you have 50K in chips and I'm the CL with 75K, I'm not calling off 2/3 of my stack with KQo.... If you have 5K, maybe even 10-15K I'm probably calling depending on what I've seen....
