It's not that big of an upset. And Juanda picked up 9 more outs on the turn. He was only a 2.5-1 dog on the turn.

He's about 4:1 favourite when the money goes in and I know that it's not an uncommon beat and that if this guy is properly rolled it should be no worse than me losing $100, but still to lose a $17k pot like that cannot be fun.

yea, either way juandas getting all his money in on this hand on the flop.. he has top 2pair on a non dangerous flop in a 3 handed game. theres no way he can think his hand is beat here lol.

I dont class that as a bad beat. I know people will say I'm being results oriented but he put most of his money in when he was losing. If you look at that board unless he has got a read on the player what does he think he has? Qx of hearts? 67 of hearts? Surely a non nut flush draw is just calling the river with a weak flush on a paired board?

Don't get me wrong I am not saying I would fold but I would probably check-call the river against a strong player.
