Beaten by runner runner quads TWICE in 6 hours at the casino!
well i dont really need to vent, but i got beaten by quad queens and quad tens two times in 6 hours playing 4/8 holdem at my casino here.
Both times i had top set/trips on the flop which turned into full houses once the board paired. I lost over $160 in these two hands when these aggressive players kept re raising me. the first one was runner runner queens and the second was 10's.
I've always had the mentality to never worry about running into quads because it's so rare. But TWICE in 6 hours and on different tables in a live game is unbeleivable.
Has anyone experienced anything like this before?
I ended up making a fair stash that night, get up to about $480 profit off $200 starting cash playing 4/8 which i definately wont complain about, but i was down to $60 after the first brutal punishing.
BAH sometimes i hate limit poker, it's so frustrating with the fishies.
