First of all hi to all, I'm new on this forum and this is my 1st post here.
So I was playing at the NL4 against regulars, in 30 hands haven't had anything worth playing postflop, than finally i got something to play with but it ends up horrible bad beat for me.

SB posts SB $0.02, BB posts BB $0.04
Pre Flop: ($0.06) Hero has![]()
fold, UTG+1 calls $0.04, Hero raises to $0.10, fold, LP calls $0.10, fold, fold, SB calls $0.08, fold, UTG+1 calls $0.06
Flop: ($0.44, 4 players)![]()

SB bets $0.44, fold, Hero calls $0.44, fold
Turn: ($1.32, 2 players)
SB bets $1.32, Hero calls $1.32
River: ($3.96, 2 players)
SB bets $1.48 and is all-in, Hero calls $1.48

(Full House, Tens full of Jacks)
SB wins $6.4
I made call on the flop because I had feeling he's trying to steal the pot with pot size bet, i was wrong, but still way way ahead of him on turn, and very unlucky on the river.
thoughts?

It happens, I wouldn't be able to get away from it either, but I probably would have folded on the flop, and avoided that crappy river.

Yes it was brave or/and stupid call on the flop, against the odds for shure, but I hit my broadway draw on turn - unfortunately
and after that I couldn't fold no matter what card came on the river.
It happens, hope I'll get that luck back somewhere.

your pre 2.5X is fine, not sure I would call pot bet on flop?
when you miracle your gutter, reraise them(they still call), as they have 1.48 behind. Iffin u gonna call the river, put em allin here. Why muck around?

I didn't 3bet on turn because i figured i have the nuts and i can play it slow, I'll win anyway...and if i 3bet him maybe he'll not call, but if i call i presumed he'll bet again on the river and than I'll put him all in...but he got the nuts on the 5. street and did the same thing to me.
But yes, I agree that probably the best play would be to fold pot size bet on the flop.

Shouldn't worry about the pot sized bet being a bluff on this board esp with these stakes. Everything your opponent is telling you makes sense don't level yourself. There's not much worse that your opponent can have in his range to bluff here the difficulty can be knowing when to fold better and have been there myself calling river bets with a good hand that should be beat based on the action- and is. Even when your opponent takes wierd lines with their bets big bets are usually solid at these levels. Basically you raise reasonably pre-flop see a flop and get donked into- this says it all they will just call with most holding but have bet out here to stop a draw + because they are strong 2 pair sets and monster draws. Folding on the flop stops you drawing against the odds and as the turn was a king just get the money across the line.
