I felt I made a bad decision the moment I folded, before I saw the flop. Would just like your input here.
fyi Tag2Drex had been playing fairly loose; AllInBenn had been playing fairly tight.

Wouldn't fold 88 at those stakes. Whether it was mistake or not depends on player who raised. What's his normal style of play?

In terms of getting implied odds to call it could be worth it if you know that the other two players will stack off lightly. Especially tag2 the only issue is that although tag2 rex's re raise is often going to be questionable all in ben's is utg raise is 4x bb and its likely to be very solid if you call he then has the opportunity to re raise or even shove over you and he doesn't have very much behind and you will no longer be getting good odds to call as you know that your hand is liable to be in only a coinflip at best and against a tag player much more likely to be just flat out dominated AA KK etc. I think though if tag 2 seems to be likely to stack off lightly if you do hit your set he has enough behind him to justify the call just to hit a set as you know that post flop you're going to have very little confidence if you don't hit your set against an aggressive opponent even if the board is low. You will hit your set 1/10 times on the flop but in this hand alone you could win two entire stacks here. Howevever I don't mind a fold as you have the chance of being re raised out of the pot by all in ben, there is only one opponent with a decent stack (I think sets are better in 3-4 way pots with each player having plenty behind them. The other thing is you have such a small chance of winning the pot without improving and all overcards scare you and because you are not the aggressor in this hand it will make it hard to continuation bet after the flop and get credit. I'm not loose enough to re raise here although I guess some people might squeeze here, but I think with all in ben in the pot and having raised big utg you can fold here happilly enough. If you always called in this spot and all in ben always flatted behind you and had a bigger stack you would spend 1.40 $ trying to hit sets but would probably make a lot more than that by getting stacks in with your set, however as ben may very well re raise especially as tag is loose to protect his hand and to take control of the hand. Marginal this one and I may get slated for this but I think folding is better than calling but its close, as you have to hit a set and a get a flop where players can get their stacks in dominated there is also the chance of getting oversetted in which case you are losing your stack. yeap I fold here too but if I was last to act I would call to just try and hit a set if I feel the other two can stack off

I agree at these stakes it was probably silly to fold. Both players were very readable and straightforward. I didnt fear AllInBenn 3-betting as I had not seen him do it once. If Tag2Drex is sitting on a max buy-in stack I would probably pull the trigger; that was ultimately the difference maker for me as I decided in the moment.

I don't think its silly at all to fold here but I think as all in doesn't 3 bet often you can get away with it in this instance whereas if he did/would then I like your fold and think a call would no longer be profitable. I think if you have these good reads on players then these are the situation where you can use them to your advantage.
