I feel a bit hard done by on this one... but I do think he had no place being in the hand.

Actually looking at it I thought the 3 had come on the river, so whilst I still think he was off calling PF this is my fault. Oops.

Agree its good to bet more pre as pairs come out together quite often and most players will call if the price is right to hit a set after the flop. After flop is tricky as you have lead out may have looked like a bluff so re raise to check with AJ etc dib't know how aqggressive oponent is but I would have been worried about value calling with AJ against your suspicious min raise.

I agree with raising more pre.
On the turn I think it really depends on reads. I was almost 100% sure he had a set from the way he played it (which I don't like either). I think calling only makes sense if he's really loose/aggressive -- and I mean something out there like 30-40+ or something (total spaz).
I think he did, especially after you min-raised. He was getting a good price to come along.

sorry to bring a downer on it but saying he had no place in the hand is wrong, he had pocket pairs pre flop with out a massive pre flop raise, for the cost of a $ id see the flop with my pockets any day, however when he flopped that set he had every right to be in that hand. when he made the check re raise i would seriously question some kind of set or perhaps 2 pair, either way after that kind of re raise id have to ask myself where my kings stood there. i know its a big laydown but the size of the raise should raise the question.

OP, your min raise was horrible as was your tiny flop bet. I generally don't fold overpairs in a 3bet pot so I guess getting it in is OK but really you deserved to get beaten playing like this.
