I don't understand when you say he can't have a set here. He raised/called your shove, that could definitely be a set.

When you semibluff shove, how much fold equity do you feel you got?

I didnt think he had a set on flop because previously i saw him 2 times check call a raise with a set. And i thought i had 50% fold equity but that was just me :P. Thx for the reply.

I kinda like your shove here, you got a lot of equity against 99,TT,TPK. I wouldn't discount JJ or some sets entirely. You also block a lot of higher flushdraws he might call behind with, limiting it to maybe AsKs,AsTs (if he even plays them this way). You really don't need much fold equity with this semibluff, it so closely borders a valueshove to be honest.

Somehow I broke my semibluff shove calculator

I don't play SH so I don't know about a raise UTG with QJs....I prob would have limped myself. Once the flop came, only creating a flush draw, I'm ok with the bet out. I don't understand why you would shove on a draw. If anything call here to see the turn. My play is mostly will fold if I don't hit turn, the cheaper the better. I don't see why MP called J8s PF which is worse than QJs lol People like the suited cards I guess.

"I was putting him on 1010,99 or TPTK." If this is the case, why would you shove on the flop when all you had was a draw? He out flopped you so its time to let it go IMO. You got a lucky river.

Raising JQs UTG is fine 6max, sometimes even FR.

Semibluff shoving is kinda funny here since against range given we have 53% equity, so it actually counts as a thin valueshove, but if villain folds anything at all, that makes it far more +EV. There's also a bit of balance vs. the nitregs who will see you now as loose.

I'm not sure about the EV of flatting. You get like 1.98:1 odds to call, and if we count Q,J,spades as outs we have a 2.13:1 chance of hitting our hand, which is really thin, though there's some arguement for some implied odds.

Ok thx i see what you are saying, makes sence. I was just counting that OP would fold more often then he wouldnt and especially TPTK (i was wrong).

I dont think really that u have good implied odds here cause if a spade comes do u really think they would continue the aggression with 1010, TPTK or whatever it is? My guess is that the best play here is shove or fold the reraise. what do u think?
