    Default AA vs Paired board

    Full Tilt Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (7 handed) - Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    Preflop: Hero is UTG with A, A
    Hero raises, 3 folds, Button calls, SB calls, BB 3-bets, Hero caps, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls

    Flop: (16 SB) 6, Q, Q (4 players)
    SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, 1 fold, SB calls, BB calls

    Turn: (9.5 BB) 4 (3 players)
    SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, SB calls, 1 fold

    River: (11.5 BB) 5 (2 players)
    SB checks, Hero checks

    Total pot: $1.15 (11.5 BB) | Rake: $0.05

    Results below:
    SB had A, 7 (flush, Ace high).
    Hero had A, A (two pair, Aces and Queens).
    Outcome: SB won $1.10


    Any way that I can save money on this hand or force my OP out? I have been loosing about 10 BB/ 100 hands to beats like this.. suggestions please

    Nothing you can do there, that is a horrible flop call by villian, but more importantly he just gave you THREE key notes on his play, so the loss isn't totally in vain:

    #1: he'll make a really bad sheriff call on the flop with Ace high (so probably will call down very light! CHA-CHING!!!)

    #2: He's super passive with his draws. Any decent Limit player raises the Turn if they think you are just betting air, AK/AJ, or a 99, TT type hand. A check-raise on the turn should appear to be a Queen, so the nut flush draw is a good spot to do this

    #3: He's tricky on the river


    So you can value-bet this fool all day long and if he does check-raise he likely has a hand, and when a bad card hits you can save money because he'll miss value by checking to you

    Nothing you did wrong, just another lucky idiot calling down. Limit poker for you. Some don't care and will make any calls.
