I'd never fold that River, and I probably lead into him a 75% of the time and then call his raise.

The real issue I have is that you open-limped in a LIMIT game!!!! absolutely unacceptable

I noticed you flatted after an open-raise in your other thread as well, you should almost never be doing either of these things in Limit Holdem

Ok, never open limp.. point taken. As far as flat calling I am not sure I understand that one is in reference to all streets or just flop?

Pre-flop. You should almost never flat a raise without other players already in the pot, your odds are just not there in a Limit game, either re-raise or fold hands like JQs 88 etc.

OK, thanks. Steve any suggestions for a good source of Limit strategies? You suggested the Fox for NLHE, who do you suggest for Limit?

Also, 44 is nowhere near playable from EP in Limit Holdem. My opening range in full Ring Limit from UTG or UTG+1 is 99+, AQ+ KQs in a normal game and TT+, AQs, AK in a tight/aggro affair.

And I randomly choose small pairs and suited connectors to mix up my play; picking either all black or all red pairs and a specific suit for SC's prior to sitting down (So I would play all black pairs clubs/spades combo ONLY, and say any suited connector in Hearts). This adds a few card combos keep your opponents' honest without making you too loose up front

I have been playing rather loose in early position. The table I have been playing at have been seeing 5 players to flops with capped action preflop. Thanks for the tips.

Small Stakes Holdem is a good start, and then follow it up with Playing in tough Holdem Games by Stoxtrader. My best advice is to join DragTheBar.com, Their limit guru Paul Hoppe is a Limit Holdem genius, and they have like four specifc Limit Holdem Coaches.

You can actually find a lot of Limit Holdem material through the Google, just make sure the artiles are newer since the game has evolved a lot in the past 5 years --it's probably as close to a solved poker variant as you can find
