Now pre flop i raised simply because i knew he was trying to isolate the limper in CO...
i floped trips and decided to bet simply because, would you bet trip A on flop with strong kicker when theres no flush draws.. NO is the answer, so I did bet to appear like i had KK or something and to allow him to bluf an A...
turn comes a Q and i check to make it look like, if he was floating to look like an A, he could make a strong bet on the river (i had a boat, so was trying to trap),
However the river was the fourth A, and so this was an action killer, he checked and i made a very small value bet of 1/3 pot... he took a while and folded..
Would you make an over bet ? or small bet ?
keep in mind i led out flop when there was no need to, to appear as if i had no A. cheked turn to appear weak, but he fell for nothing, or he had KK and wanted to play safe and as cheap as possible....
How would you of played this one... the other play was TAG player playing 12 tables...

I would have just cold called his flop bet, then check turn. It was a rainbow board and you nearly had nuts (after flop). The turn brought the goods. Depending on his turn bet (most likely) I'd raise or call. River I'd bet out decent sized bet prob same.

he was a good player, letting me be the aggressive player in this hand as he was out of position on me....

What are you trying to achieve, more money? or a river call? lol Maybe not understanding each other? My play is playing weak, if he is checking, then I'd be betting....
