Smile and move on, you played fine. Let him keep doing this, and you'll be laughing all the way home.

youre playing 2NL tables, you need to be more aggressive. Far more. They don't care, theyll call with any crap or not. Poker in microstakes is pretty binary. Allin or not. I try to play on the flop and when you are loaded on the preflop just try to go allin.

I have been stacked many times by that as well. I shove with KK and get called by 24s and he makes a straight.

I shove with AA and get called by J6 and he flops a set.

Microstakes shoving allin preflop doesn't seem to discourage too many people from calling with rags.

That style will increase your variance more. And being a limit player, I dont like variance, personally. But it's up to you how you like to play, as long as your making +EV moves. But I agree, a shove is not wrong either. Especially if that's your only move, gives your opponents no choices as to what to do.

Hand is played fine. Shoving preflop greatly reduces the range that villians will call us with, some people aren't afraid to play poker postflop.

okay so don't say be more aggressive because it s micros, you played it fine, I've played $1/$2 tables which can get messy and I almost believe players are worst there then micros, or play $33 sit-go to lose to some one chases on big raises all the to the river with j2 suited, and catchs the river. Online poker is really nothing more the glorified bingo, and not just micros. Online poker is starting to make me hate poker...because its like playing a game of fish with my 5yr nephew. Stepping away from it for awhile, playing proper poker against bad players who just don't care is not fun, or if you can't beat them, join, be a donk, its seems to pay alot more!!!!
