    Default Correct AA Fold? NLHE

    Hand AsAc Ring SB

I have no physical read on the dude.. if I had to guess from how he plays I'd say not tight or loose.. neither passive nor aggressive. In between

I think that folding the turn is right (looks like a set putting you at drawing for a 2 outer) however, I think that you should have raised more preflop. I would suggest raise to .85 or 1.00 preflop. This narrows the range down.

I don't really understand how raising more pre-flop could have helped. The only hands I can really see him playing that hard preflop are a suited K/10 (unlikely) a TT (possible) or a KK (most likely).

He may have folded a TT there.. but would you have folded KK to a 10x blind preflop bet?

Pre-Flop, raise more. About .75 - 1.00 would be fine here. With AA you really want to punish those weaker hands. You welcome big connectors like AK, AQ, KQ, etc. You don't want stuff like 67s coming along. (BTW, If I remember, 67s (might be 56s) has the highest win % vs AA of any hand, still something like 20%, but much more than KK). Your raise screams weakness, which may be intentional, but without having a read on villain, standard play is the way to go.

Flop, There is a straight Flush draw on the board, thats going to hit about 45% of the time over the next 2 cards. Your effed if that straight or flush card comes in. AA is won or lost pre-flop and flop. You don't go to the river nitpicking with AA. Fire your big gun here. Make a pot sized bet. His reraise is decent, about 2/3 pot. You need to now pot it. If he really has something that has you beat, he'll push, and now you can fold.

Turn. No reason to fold here. That 8 is not scary in the least. You might as well have that card face down. IF you 3 bet the flop, you have to push here. If not, you should have folded to his 2 bet on the flop.
Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.

Additionally, betting more preflop creates a lower Stack-To-Pot ratio(SPR), which creates a more favorable situation for your hand. This allows you to get your stack in by the river without needing to be raised or spam pot-sized bets to the river. (Max Value for your AA)
