I was just at the peppermill in reno, nevada last weekend and got hammered on this hand at a 1/2 table:

I was UTG with pocket queens and i raised it to 30 dollars to go at a 1/2 NL table. The BB was my only caller, and so I knew he didn't have Aces or Kings because he would have re-raised.

The flop came 3 cards under ten and a flush draw. I bet 65 dollars on the flop and he called, so then i figured he didn't have AK because what kind of idiot invests 95 dollars on a drawing hand like AK. so I put him on mid pair up to jacks.

The turn was the king of diamonds and i figured i was good so I bet 100 on the turn, he pushed another 250 all in and since i elimiated kings aces or AK I made the call.

my opponet showed A7 of diamonds to crush me with a flush.

Does anyone think I misplayed that hand, or do you think i just got crushed by a donk investing 95 dollars on a weak drawing hand.

Turn is a fold, not even close.

I think you played the hand good. I can't believe he called with A7. Was your table less than 7 people?

blinds are 1 and 2
your UTG and you raise to 30 ?
whats this, a 25xbb raise UTG, personaly would of gone for 3x or maybe a limp.

He might of thought you were just trying to steal the blinds because you made a huge 15x the big blind raise when the normal raise is only like 3x. So he might of thought since you raised so much you had a crappy hand.
