Default 5nl horrible spot with bottom set

MP is 22/14 over ~80 hands, SB is 45/8 over ~50 hands.

Should I have folded the flop or the turn here? On the flop I couldn't work out what to do, I was either behind better sets or WA of big pairs/flush draws. On the turn I had a brain explosion and spazzed out

Shove the flop. Never ever assume your set is beat by another set, it just doesn't happen enough to make it worth folding. Especially at these stakes where players way overvalue top pair.

This could very likely be SB has 9x since he made a protection bet and his preflop calling range is so huge, MP could have an overpair or a big suited ace, or anything like that. But clearly someone has something good, and you can get max value on this flop by shoving. And I say shove because stacks aren't deep enough to raise to $5 or $6, you'd only have $6 or $7 on the turn with a pot of $13-$15.

As played your turn shove is fine, he could still have just one heart, probably with an overpair, or AhJx.
