    Default Stack off here correct?!

Hey guys. My first post here, hello everyone !!

I dont know what my title should be but here goes,

I had KsJs in CO, and this guy who is in MP limp calls my raise to 4bb pre. His stats are VPIP: 54, PF: 39, AF: 1.00 (Over 40 sample)

    The flop comes Jh8h3c.

Villain check raises my $1.50 bet to $4.50. What is the correct play here for me?

I do not know if the AF of 1 means he is aggressive and capable of doing this with air/flushdraw/less than top pair. An AF of 1 is low.

I know that if he is an 54/39/1.5 or more AF it would be an easy call down or raise all-in for the turn if he leads again on a blank turn.

Basically, does the low AF on an otherwise loose aggressive guy preflop mean I should fold? Because I noticed that postflop he is quite passive. HE is a contrasting character !

    Thank you!

I'd fold there for sure if you have a SOLID read he's normally passive post flop.

If you're really sure he is normally passive post-flop, then this is a fold. If he's normally passive, he probably likes to fish and call with weak hands (calling station), so a check-raise probably means he finally hit a monster with his trash. Get his money the easier way by letting him pay off your good hands.

40 hands is too small of a sample to be looking at aggression. I fold it up here and look for a better spot. You're probably looking at 2 pair or possibly a set.

OK thanks guys. I get it, fold that top pair!

I was confused because his 54/39 LAG preflop game threw me WAYYY off !

I'm really not looking to fold tpgk against a 54/39 without reads that he is passive post flop, and to be honest I can't imagine a 54/39 being that passive.

The 40 hand sample size is nothing for AF

use aggression frequency instead of aggression factor, and yeah grow a pair and get it in on this flop

he has already grown a pair and more than that it is the top pair! Even I wouldn't fold here.

I wont necassarily fold here but I wont always 3bet get it in either.

What is the effective stack size on the flop? This information is also important in deciding how to continue.

if he is short than fist pump get it in. If we are deep call flop, call most turns and and call safe rivers. Let him value own himself with worse one pair type hands and if he bets river w/ a four flush on the board than fold.

There is value in calling down and seeing what he c/r semi wet flops with

If I have a read that he only c/r w/ 2 pair+ even then I still would probably call. If the 3rd heart comes on the turn and he checks, bet pot, being prepared to bet 2/3rds pot on a non paired, non 4 flush river. Course this play sucks when villian cant fold bottom set, but pays off great when you have the flush
