Your river shove makes me want to claw my eyes out.
Lots of good rakeback options at http://www.rakeguard.com/?raf=KRE8R
KRE8R probably has about seventy college funds in his NL5 roll.

I don't necessarily think calling preflop with a suited ace is a bad play there, unless the table is playing super tight and won't pay you off if you catch something. Definitely exercise extreme caution riverbetting on a flush board though.

I would have been out preflop; however, if you are going to play that, the flat call was dangerous imo, and I would have folded to an assumed flush based on the betting pattern when the Button called the 7.00 check/raise.

I would have seen a flop but when I didn't see 2 diamonds fall I would have checked than folded to any bet. Your ace was weak. His bet on the turn should have got you thinking and after he called your raise you should have heard the train whistle bearing down on you. Live and learn.
