    Default TT on Button

Always bet when we have the best hand?

Villain was 16/14/5.0 at the time with an 80% F3bet rate so I didn't opt for a 3bet preflop as most that we crush fold. He'd been stealing 33% and shown down 5d9d earlier when he raised from the button.

    Grabbed by Holdem Manager
    NL Holdem $0.25(BB) Full Tilt
    SB ($19.89)
    BB ($26.64)
    UTG ($23.89)
    UTG+1 ($10.20)
    CO ($55.76)
    Hero ($45.73)

    Dealt to Hero T:heart: T:club:

fold, fold, CO raises to $0.85, Hero calls $0.85, fold, fold

    FLOP ($2.05) 4:diamond: 6:club: A:club:

CO bets $1.50, Hero calls $1.50

    TURN ($5.05) 4:diamond: 6:club: A:club: 3:heart:

    CO checks, Hero checks

    RIVER ($5.05) 4:diamond: 6:club: A:club: 3:heart: 9:heart:

    CO checks, Hero ???

Thin value bet here or check back?
Although I think we nearly always have the best hand here, the only thing that I think could call us here is 9x that he happened to pair on the river.

    Tough one.

Thinking it over, a light value bet would work. Most likely he does not have the ace and just made a standard C bet on the flop. Worst case scenario he has a weak ace, which still isn't very likely.

I'd bet about 3.50 on the river hoping that he had a J9 type of hand and caught a piece.

I'd bet turn. Definitely check down river. You have good showdown value, but definitely not enough to withstand a check-raise. Unless he has K6, there's really nothing you beat that he'd look you up with. I don't track hands, though, so I'm exactly sure how his 16/14 relates to real play.

I agree with a turn bet as that would hopefully end the hand there (you're completely done if he calls a turn bet).

As played, however, he didn't bet the turn which leaves a weird river. Since hero already checked the turn, one would expect villain to bet the river **if he had an ace**.

My logic is that since he didn't bet turn or river, he doesn't have the ace and hero's hand is good. You still get calls from mid pocket pairs, X6 and x9 hands. Hero already saw villain stealing a third of the time and showing 59 suited from a button raise...

Regardless, always depends on stats and reads in the end.

Obviously, if you get check raised on turn or river, instafold.

Another plus is that if villain didn't hit anything at all and folds, they won't see how you play 1010 on the button!
