    Default HU 3street bluff

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (2 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    Hero (BB) ($55.75)
    SB ($49.45)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 5, 6
SB bets $1.50, Hero calls $1

    Flop: ($3) A, 4, 2 (2 players)
Hero checks, SB bets $2, Hero raises to $5.25, SB calls $3.25

    Turn: ($13.50) 6 (2 players)
Hero bets $8.50, SB calls $8.50

    River: ($30.50) 10 (2 players)
    Hero ???

Very aggressive dynamic. Villain raiises nearly all buttons and has been 3&4betting very light. Capable of making big folds. Another hand in the session he folded trip 2's on a 3-flush board, and is a good hand reader. He's aware of polarised ranges using overbets and is also aware that I overbet for value as well as bluff.

What do you think his range is, and what do you think my perceived range is?

When he bets the flop I think his hand ranges include 55-KK/35/A4/A2/24/22/44/AA/Ax/4x/Flush draws/A small amount of random airballs that is beating me but will fold (like 9To). The turn card is definitely a good card to bet as I think he folds a lot of his one pair hands here besides Ax.

Fwiw I think my perceived range has a ton more flush draws than his range.

Given reads, do you bluff this river? If not, what rivers do you bluff?

    He's my friend.
P.s. Did I really make him sound that good? Lol. I didn't think understanding all that was *that* good.

50/50 in my opinion, if he can fold good cards, a third shot on the river might encourage him to fold. However if he can play a good range of hands, he might had a strong flush draw on the flop, Ax, or already had the straight on the flop.

Considering all you have is a pair of 6s and he called a big bet on the turn, I'm guessing your beaten.

Then again I'm not the best at 2 handed poker.

Oh sorry. I wouldn't say he'd crush nl50hu, but he plays .50/1hu regularly and takes shots at 1/2hu though.

Anyway. Do you bluff here MJ?

Since this is heads up, there can by many hands that your opponent can be holding. Preflop: His raise sounds like it is pretty standard. Your call gives the indiction that you are not that strong either. Flop: Your check after the flop seems weak. His bet of 2/3rds the pot seems to indicate A/weak, flush draws, straight draws, and single pairs. Either way I think he has hit something on the flop. The check raise should have given him the idea that you were strong but his call gives me the impression that he is stronger than A/weak and any draws. My read on him at this point is A/strong and big flush draws.

I think where you lost this hand is your bet on the turn. It looked to me that the flush did not sell itself. I think a higher bet would have made him fold his Ax and straight draws. So his call might signal a flush. I think you cut your losses on this hand and check the river.
