Turn bet is bad? But I think the A doesn't hit his range too often and I thought was definitely for value against draws. I do see reasoning behind checking back the turn though.
River is not a snap call, but it's a call for sure, right?
So anyway, I eventually call and he shows QcTc. (:

I play exactly the same.
Lots of good rakeback options at http://www.rakeguard.com/?raf=KRE8R
KRE8R probably has about seventy college funds in his NL5 roll.

I play it the same, I probably snap call that river because overpush is almost ALWAYS bullshit at this level.

Played fine, Turn is a great card to double barrel. even if you don't have a pair & flush draw
just make a note that he floats w/ undercards, chases gutters and likes to overbet river for value. So, Vbet the shit out of TP and don't pay off when the obv. draw hits

Played really well.
Bet the turn to get value from draws and then check river back unimproved. As you rivered 2 pairs and the draw missed snap call. Unlucky.Best Current Ongame Deal.

I hate these types of hands. The river improves your hand but improves your opponent even more. I have been doing the same type of think on the river. The big lead out bet on the river was an indication of a big hand, but then again runner runner straight is a little tough to read.
I believe you played the hand exactly as I would. Flopping top pair/decent kicker and the second nut flush draw is a damn good hand. According to a popular odd calculator (no blatant name dropping....), you were a 97% favorite after the flop. After the A hit on the turn, you were still a 93% favorite because there were only 2 JavaScript in the deck left. The other guy was extreeeeeeeemly lucky (or stupid for staying in the hand).
