No definite reads, but it is typical NL2 6max. UTG is 50/18 over 30 hands. MP is 62/8 over 10 hands. Wasn't sure whether 3-bet or cold-call PF was appropriate, but a fold just doesn't seem right. The rest of the hand is fairly standard, though my flop bet was a little too small.

Your flop bet looks good to me. The whole hand looks pretty well played, actually. Being in the SB, I probably would have just called UTG's 3bb raise to set mine, but the way you played it, you were able to get a lot more money on the flop. There are a lot of flops that can make your TT look like hell oop, though, so it's a risky play.
Oh, and what's the max buy-in? $2?

This is Stars so max buy-in is $5. I have a very small bankroll (~$25) that I built from nothing using the 70FPP sats, $1 STTs, and $0.25-45mans. Once my roll gets bigger, I'll start buying in bigger until I can move on up to NL5.
As far as the hand, you're right. I 3-bet because I had an idea what I'd do on the flop. I'd play fast if the flop was all undercards, b/f 1 overcard, and c/f 2+ overs. Of course, when the 3rd T flopped, I played the texture of the board (knowing they probably had a GSD at a minimum).Last edited by triple-t; 09-23-2009 at 10:19 PM.

hand is played well, given mp called the flop he almost certainly wont fold to a jam so you might as well stick it in there.

I play exactly the same.
Lots of good rakeback options at http://www.rakeguard.com/?raf=KRE8R
KRE8R probably has about seventy college funds in his NL5 roll.

fold to that 2c raise imo. It shows strength.
