Default AA 3-way with super nit (FR)

Been a while since I posted a hand but it's been a while since I've played a hand! So grinding a little 25nl FR and 6max for now. This is FR though it had gone 7-handed. Still I think folk are playing in FR mode.

Anyway, BB is 17/15, nothing much to speak of he's been fairly quiet and straightforward. MP3 is uber nitty, 11/2 over 100 hands. Play on turn?

    $0.1/$0.25 No Limit Holdem

    9 players
    Converted at weaktight.com

    Stacks:
    UTG+1 ($8.65)
    MP1 ($5.00)
    Hero (MP2) ($25.92)
    MP3 ($26.82)
    CO ($33.75)
    BTN ($12.20)
    SB ($5.00)
    BB ($25.00)

    Pre-flop: ($0.35, 9 players) Hero is MP2
    2 folds, Hero raises to $0.85, MP3 calls $0.85, CO calls $0.85, 2 folds, BB calls $0.60

    Flop: ($3.50, 5 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $2.50, MP3 calls $2.50, 1 fold, BB calls $2.50

    Turn: ($11, 4 players)
    BB checks, Hero ??

Bet turn, check / give up on river or if raised, villain can still have a lot more than sets, nitty pre may not corespond to being able to fold KK/jj or AK on the flop. Can deffinately have KQs.

I think it's close between b/f and c/c. I don't think MP3 will bluff anywhere near enough to make c/c - c/f river very exploitable.

I guess this hand represents a generic FR question, how often would you check the flop to control the pot slightly and avoid the awkward turn decisions (especially OOP)?

why dont u raise 4x bb??

    with that being said

fire at the turn, if you get raised you can call or fold profitably i think

    with this hand

never, im firing 100% of the time....

i was watching the daut44 mass table vid, basically he plays all his big hands fast at FR...at this level david no reason to be cute, if they hit a set, oh well...

I'm potting it with that flop.

I'm also loading my gun for another bullet on the turn. There are a wide range of hands that you have crushed that can call you at this point.

AQ, KQ, QJ, KJ, J9, KK. Everyone of them is drawing very thin and likely not going anywhere.

To all those saying "just bet bet bet", what do you do if you're called by, say, the nit? What's your plan for the river?

I'm not saying betting is necessarily bad by the way.

EDIT: raise preflop is pot, perfectly standard imo.

flop betsize is fine aswell imo.

    .
If you fire on the turn and the nit calls you again you might be behind, but it's still very unlikely. Most players with a set are going to make their stand on the turn. After the 2nd heart hits the board they're not likely to just flat your turn bet.

Chances are if you get flat called twice a river value bet is still in order if a brick hits the board. You certainly don't want to see any paint.

OK, I know I'm a n00b so excuse the question, but why didn't you bet at least $1.25 preflop?

crundy - $1.25 would be 5x pre, it basically turns your hand even more face up since your range is already ridiculously tight opening in that position.

david just bet bigger everywhere, dont feel bad about bet/folding something like $9 on the turn either. you'll never get exploited and it's really just a game of bet/folding all streets.

i probably check river if called by either on the turn, all i ever remember about full ring was just getting owned non stop by nits with sets. ranges are so absurdly tight, i don't even think these guys are supposed to have much KJ, maybe some KJs but they'd probably muck them pre.

    god FR is retarded.
