    Default Flush help

Bugger! So can people have a look at this and see where I went wrong? Obviously the river was a massive danger card, but I felt I had to take the risk and convince them that either I had a higher flush than them (if they had a flush) or extract maximum value if they didn't have a flush.

    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (9 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
    MP2 ($4.52)
    Hero (MP3) ($11.35)
    CO ($2)
    Button ($1.95)
    SB ($2.15)
    BB ($2.91)
    UTG ($2.86)
    UTG+1 ($1.99)
    MP1 ($2.76)
    Preflop: Hero is MP3 with Q, K
    3 folds, MP2 calls $0.02, Hero bets $0.08, 3 folds, BB calls $0.06, MP2 calls $0.06
    Flop: ($0.27) A, J, K (3 players)
BB bets $0.14, 1 fold, Hero raises to $0.34, BB calls $0.20
    Turn: ($0.95) 10 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.95, BB calls $0.95
    River: ($2.85) 9 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $2.85, BB calls $1.54 (All-In)
    Total pot: $5.93 | Rake: $0.39
    Results:
BB had J, K (flush, Ace high).
Hero had Q, K (straight, Ace high).
    Outcome: BB won $5.54

What would you have done in the same situation?

The flop raise is pretty pointless and the river shove is riiculous, just check it back.

This hand is played pretty poorly IMO.

The pre-flop raise is decent. You get the field squeezed down to you and 2 players whom you have position on, but your hand still leaves something to be desired.

The flop re-raise should be done for a purpose. When you raise him there are you trying to get value? Are you trying to get information? Are you semi-bluffing? What hand are you repping?

The turn it played quite well. You bet the pot with the best hand. Only other play there is to ship it in.

River is terrible. Only hand that might pay you there is a set. Check it back to him and avoid that trap.

Yeah I dont raise the flop either I dont think.

Probably just check back on river too.
Lots of good rakeback options at http://www.rakeguard.com/?raf=KRE8R

KRE8R probably has about seventy college funds in his NL5 roll.

dude, it can't go both ways. you need to have a very good idea about whether you are betting for value or as a bluff, otherwise you are pretty much just throwing your money into the pot and hoping to get lucky.

Forgot to say this the first time. There's probably thin value vs sets in that river shove at these stakes but it's really high-variance.
