    Default Tough spot.

First off, sorry about the hand history, it was on cake and I exited the table before I decided to post this.

Little bit of background info. Cracked villains aces 12 hands prior with a Jc9c when I flopped a straight.

The push was funny, I figured it was either JJ or AJ. Would you call here? How often do you think I am behind?

Very hard to lay down AA there without some good insight on the villian.

There is no obvious draw that he is donking with, so what type of hand do you put him on. He could certainly have been raising with 66/JJ and you're beat. It would explain why he bet right into you after you re-raised him pre-flop. He could do that with AJ/KJ as well though.

Lots of good rakeback options at http://www.rakeguard.com/?raf=KRE8R

KRE8R probably has about seventy college funds in his NL5 roll.

yeah. I'm calling all day. I figured if I am beat it is with 66. JJ would probably re-raise back, or at least re-pop me and not go all in and lose value.

It smelled really funny when it happened. I even made my roomate laugh because I yelled, "Fuck me. He has a set. I'm calling him though."

sure enough he had a set. 22 wtf kind of bullshit is that? lol.

Just wanted to make sure there wasn't something i missed though. I chalked this one up to bad luck and went and drank a beer.

raise a bit bigger preflop, and definitely lead out on the flop....why checkraise?

anyways, you're getting this in on the flop 100%

yeah. I should have raised more. I was hoping he'd 3bet since he hadn't min raised before, let alone UTG.

I checked to him because I had been check folding a lot to continuation bets.

I think your right. I didn't play it all that well, but I'm still getting it in on the flop.

that means you're calling preflop too often out of position. most of the hands you should be playing should consist of you being the aggressor, in position

    $1.50 preflop.

Bet flop, do small victory dance, ship it in imo.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.
