    Default Evaluate this hand

A hand one of my students had during an earlier session.

    1. What range of hands do you put MP on?
    2. What range of hands do you put BB & UTG on?

    Reads:
MP has been playing extremely LAG 38/24/4.5 over 44 hands at the table
BB is a 6-max nit who plays 16/10/2.5 over about 600 hands
UTG is a LAGfish who plays 34/26/6.5 over about 100 hands

Weird hand. Is it possible MP had A8 / A4s? Checked the turn to avoid folds for his TP w/ OESD?

    34/26/6.5 = LAGfish?

I'm confused by pre flop, how is BB acting first?

nit probably has a pp and occasionally a 78s type hand

UTG I find harder to put on a range because I'd expect such an aggressive player (lol at calling him an aggressive fish) to be raising up the flop with a pair+ draw or 2pair+

BB I'd put on a pair or 56/67/78s type. Most likely guess as played would be a 88/99 maybe.

MP I would say air or Ax. Very occasionally straights/2 pair but I would expect a turn bet, 78 etc. seems extremely thin on the river but if reads are good then I like a bet with that type of hand. In fact I like that line alot with 89 or another monster. I assume MP is the student?

UTG, not sure as an aggro fish in c/c, c/c, c/f mode isn't all that common! I would guess some kind of draw, like 88 or 78 or something.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

don't think mp or utg ranges are particularly strong but i'm pretty sure MPs line is value.
