ah, nh.

I think I prefer a 3bet preflop cos the minraise is gay and our hand won't play great multiway. Also we have position. Maybe $1.10 for isolation.

As played I don't mind the raise on the flop, but would probably check back the turn to bluff catch/vbet a non club river. I think it's bad to bet $3.50 ish and then fold turn so you have to be willing to get it in which I'm not a huge fan of. That said, your bet size isn't terrible cos it does give you room to manouvere and you often get a free showdown because of it. Were you planning b/f or b/c?

I play the same way, almost to the tee, and loose to KQ in the end.

Yeah, I considered 3betting pre but decided to err on the side of caution v. an unknown UTG raiser. I didn't see that it was a minraise until I called.

As for the turn, I'm trying to remember what I was thinking at the time (probably 'lol i hav an ace bet pls'). The turn bet I think was mostly for value against AJ/AT type hands but I didn't like the K pairing because stuff like KJ that calls the flop now kills me.

I'm not sure how much I like a turn bet 3way when the King pairs. I guess we could be up against a FD and a weaker Ace so yeah it's probably fine.

+1. I like this because they will so often bluff that river with a missed flush or imply a K in this scenario.
