Default 50 NL AK suited. Is this the right play?

This was my first hand at the table, so ive got no info on my opponents.

We were 4 handed as a guy was sat out.

I have AdKd. raise to $1.50 in the cut off. Button folds. SB reraises to $4.50. BB folds.

I decide to make it $14.50. He takes about 20 seconds or so and shoves all in. He has me covered. I call he turns over QQ and i wind up winning the hand by hitting 2 kings.

Is this a profitable play or would i be better of just flat calling his reraise?

depends a little what site this is on. i think stars, ftp, and party all play more aggressively preflop than other, smaller sites. neither way of playing the hand is bad, but i think i like calling more on weaker sites and 4b/calling more on bigger, tougher sites.

It was on full tilt. Games are generally fairly aggressive and ppl play back from the blinds a lot.

I had $50...i think he had $85 ish.

For me how I play a hand like AK depends on how much profit I am in if I lose, how I am seen at the table, how tight my opponents are.
Against looser players or on looser sites I don't mind going allin.

I rarely see people at NL50 (at least on cake) 4bet shoving without QQ+, so it can be a tricky spot without reads

with that said, it goes along with squeezy's advice, I'm sure FTP is much tougher than Cake at NL50

I guess the answer to "how much profit" would be a negative number if you're losing

I think four-handed without reads for 100BBs or less AKs is a profitable call here.
