Default Idk where to begin

I am still learning alot through just playing, but need more help to become better than a "break even" player. I had watched him, and he always bet hard with top pair, so I feel I did ok until river. Then I just paid it off I guess...just need some advice. And all critism is welcome, flame away if need be.

Make it 40c preflop, then cbet at least 50c into the 75c pot. Fold to the minraise. check/fold turn. do not bet that river, that was the worst possible card you could've seen

you seem to have had a read that this guy just bets with air. if that's the case, raise him. It'd be cheaper to 3bet his minraise on the flop then call that and two more streets worth of betting, while having no idea where you are in the hand.

your flop bet sucked (make it 55-65 cents)

and your turn play is horrible

I would too, but the problem is, he bet way too little.

yeah i forgot to mention that your betsizing is what got you into this mess. Raise more pre. Bet the flop like a man, then when you get raised its a lot easier to make the right decision.

Totally agree w/ everyone, except... folding flop! Why? Because of a little min. raise to see how "well" you play??

Pound! Pound! Pound! Create some fold equity. Take control of the hand from the get-go, and make HIM decide... can't let him get to river!

What's with all these MIN. RAISES at those limits??? SOOOOO WEAK! Unless, you have different read, crush those min. raisers!

Mentally, take notes on all that previous info, and use it against him. Never let that type of info go unnoticed.

Good luck,
Dayne
