They might bet the flop with a Q but then they might slowplay top pair too.

noted, I'll make sure my raise is the right amount in future this is all good stuff to learn and hear peoples opinons.

One idea I just had.. is there an aggression factor (I use poker office) that would help warrant a call? I don't remember what his was, but if he was not aggressive at all then certainly it would be a fold and assume he had something. Perhaps if he had a high aggression factor then we could think he was more likely to be bluffing it? I'm still working on making good use of the stats

High aggression can warrant a call but often I will see people with really low aggression still bluff in stupid spots. I think a read of whether or not you've seen them bluff is more useful.

i don't think any aggression factor or amount of statistics negates the fact you have ace high against an unknown who is usually a passive donk in a 4 way and you expect him to not have a pair.
