I'm actually surprised people are saying to check river. Villain surely never checks better and can certainly call with worse

I really hope no-one seriously checks the river. I mean, donkishness of being me aside.

funny thing about this hand is it took me about 10 mins to realise I won. I saw the showdown and thought "T7, nh, good check on the river then by me" and was fixated on another table. A while later I look back and realise I'm up $10 on that table and think "wtf? i haven't won anyth.....oh man".

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

Maybe it's correct to call. Did you use his flop aggro factor or observation? Just curious

He was fairly aggro, like 3.5 maybe AF overall. But I'd seen minraises from this guy in the past and a decent amount of the time he was playing more passive on the turn and river so I figure to maybe see a free river or even a free showdown sometimes.

Also I don't think he needs a T to do this raise, I think a 7 or a draw is in his range enough.

Folding is fine though, I just don't think a call is bad either.
