The fold should be obvious I suppose, but should I have donkbet into him?

There's no river, but I know what you mean. If we check, do we call a ~$4 cbet? Would we 3bet over that cbet?

I donkbet because I don't know the right answers to these questions, and figured if it went check/check then I'm going to see a crappy turn card..

Meant flop sorry, edited my post. Never check that flop. Your bet was fine, just fold to his rrai.

i don't see the point of betting here. not getting value from 8x/99 often enough and JJ+ raises and has you crushed. checking lets AJ+ and fd's fire. crai maybe? i don't know how to stove this using fold equity but i'll give it a go now.

my thing was, c/r'ing commits me to stacking off and people don't 3bet AJ+ at NL25 pf here often save the occasional AKs, and they certainly don't 3bet 8x from MP. Calling a cbet would leave me with no information for the next street, at which a scare card is likely going to land.

this guy is a bit of a tard, give him 3betting range of AJ+ and TT+ and KQo+. AJo, AJs+, KQs/KQo+ and pairs all fire. 128 combos fire, i think 28 call a shove. 4/5 times you win $10.35 assuming he bets $4.50, ev of $41.40 straight away. you're pretty fucked when you're called by KQhh+ and TT+, 14% equity. -$18.30 when you're called.

$23 equity for crai? doesn't seem right, someone correct me.

While I'm not doubting that he's a tard, we do only have 15 hands to go off at this point..

Problem is if we are not going to cbet this flop then we shouldnt be raising preflop either. I think this is the best flop he could hope for with a hand like TT here honestly. His fold equity seems decent and he still has showdown value should he get called. Honestly this is why TT kind of bothers me.
