Default NL10 NFD + Overcard Line Check

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)

saw flop|saw showdown

MP ($8.90)
CO ($11.55)
Hero ($12.75)
SB ($11.35)
BB ($10.35)
UTG ($3.65)

Preflop: Hero is Button with , .
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.35, SB raises to $1.05, BB calls $0.90, Hero calls $0.65.

Is this an OK call? No stats on SB but he seemed fairly aggro from what I noticed and I doubt he's aware enough of his bad position for me to be worried about a monster. I'm getting over 3-1 on the call with a suited ace (they r teh nutz!!!11) in position so das ist gut, ja?

Flop: ($3.05) , , (3 players)
SB bets $2, BB folds, Hero raises to $11.75 (All-In)

Any heart + any ace gives me 12 outs so I'm about even money to win if he has something like KJ. If my aces are dead then gg but I can still fluke a flush. I shoved because a) donks are scared of an all-in rather than a raise even if the difference is only like $0.50 so it adds a bit of fold equity and b) a pot-sized raise commits me and it's going in on the turn no matter what, so might as well shove now.

Decent line or donkish?

pf is bad. just fold. it's a suited ace sure but you're realistically aiming for the flush or straight and 3:1 is nowhere near enough to justify the call. If the flop comes A high are you putting the money in? I hope not.

flop as played, yeah I just shove it in, reasonable FE and we're not in terrible shape against his range.

You can tell I thought PF was bad 'cos I spent so much time trying to justify it.

as played I like the flop shove. Without a shove you can either see your heart on the turn and possibly have the villain totally shut down or not see a heart and have your equity kicked in tehnutz. You are about even money against his range but I wouldn't be surprised to see an overpair calling here.

Even vs KK I'm just under 50-50 unless he has the , the only overpair that kicks me soundly in the nuts is AA.

how much 3betting goes on at these limits? when i played micros, most people would only 3bet QQ+, in which case i think a call on the flop would be far superior to a shove. if you think he plays stuff like AK and AQ like this, a shove is good.

pf sucks either way

they're definitely 3betting AK/AQ/AJ/KQ type hands enough at this level imo.

We all know it's easier playing NL200 where they respect your raises.
