Arrow NL5 - TPTK vs raise.

Few hands in so no reads.

Poker Stars, $0.02/$0.05 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter
BB: $11.11
UTG: $9.26
MP: $15.88
CO: $3.11
Hero (BTN): $5.58
SB: $9.03
Pre-Flop: dealt to Hero (BTN)
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.10, CO calls $0.10, Hero raises to $0.50, 2 folds, MP raises to $0.90, CO folds, Hero calls $0.40

Even though it was small, his 4 bet preflop was worrying. Most players at this level are really passive. He must have a strong hand like JJ+/AK here right?

Flop: ($1.97) (2 Players)
MP checks, Hero bets $2, MP raises to $14.98 and is All-In, Hero ?

So AA, KK and JJ beat me. I can only tie with AK, and I beat QQ.
Half of me says fold, you have one pair. But the other half says, this is NL5 and you have TPTK call.
I'm getting good odds, so I think a call is probably right here, but I need help with what to do when it was checked to me on the flop.
I'm guessing my bet on the flop was wrong/too big. Should I of checked or bet like 75c to keep the pot small and try get a cheap showdown?

Edit: 100th post btw.

You've put in over half your stack you have to call.

I prob just raise it up again pre, guys at this level will stack off AQ/AJ enough to make it way +ev.

Yeah I don't think you can bet/fold this flop, there is a significant chance you are behind but you don't have to be ahead that often for it to be +EV

I actually prefer checking the flop and taking a passive line. If he checks turn I bet and stack off.
If he bets turn I call and call river
