I think you played it fine. If he rivered a FH or something then oh well. Not much you can do. You kinda have to bet the river and you are pot committed after that. You are ahead of most of his hands most of the time.

I like a 3bet on that flop. Villain is slightly loose and could have anything, not necessarily the trips. If you get 4bet you need to re-evaluate but a called 3bet can allow more monies in the pot if you hit and the possibility of getting a free card if the turn bricks because you've got position. Even then, if you do get a free card and the river gets you the flush a villain that was holding a jack may still pay you off.

definitely raise the flop.

river, fold or shove. if you think he's betting worse hands then you have to shove cos he ain't folding them now, if you don't think he's betting worse then fold. calling is bad imo.

if he's loose and gets out of line then i shove.
