The only river worse than that would be the , that's disgusting.

I think you have to c/f this, what are you beating? 55? A7? AdXx bluff? Unlucky.

I would bet the flop harder, $24 at least. Otherwise I think it's fine and there's not much else you can do on the river.

Yeah, Dave's right, you don't want to give a naked diamond a free flush.

I think it's ok, except that I like my flop bets larger, always 3/4 pot - pot. So 25-33$. Like here, I'd bet the pot honestly, 33$. When you bet larger, you always have a little better idea of what's going on (well at least for me). I think check fold the river is the right play. We pretty much only beat a busted draw.

This is where live poker helps a lot :

-I can see my opponent
-I can see his reactions to bets
-I can see how much time he took to call on this hand¸
-I can have a general idea of what his playing style may be. I can talk to him, see how he responds
-I call the river if villan is asian.

mister.x, you seem to be Derren Brown or someone as when you play live your opponents are apparently all Asian or playing with their hole cards face-up to you with their body language.

Not all of them asian, lots of them. It seems just that a lot of them play their draws the same god dam way.

And no joke at all, the body language helps a lot in live poker. It is much easier to play...at least, where I play. If I could have a camera and film what is going on, you'll laugh up your ass. It's not because it's 1-2 or 2-5 that people do sick plays, are unreadable, have super magik tricks.

Just take my advice with asians or just notice when you are out of a hand :

-bet half the pot flop, half the pot turn, a bit more than half the pot river with an asian = draw/busted draw

-call your flop bet, call your turn bet, takes a little more time, makes a big bet river with an asian = draw/busted draw

a lot of people to this, but just add 25% more accuracy if villan is asian. It's not racist or anything, I just noticed this with a small sample of 7 asians out of 10.

This is all played fine. Without any reads you can't call the river with any confidence.
