with no reads you are probably ok to just call.

but i think especially at this level a ton of worse hands will call a shove. he isn't folding KQ/AJ and we know how some of these guys will get married to AQ/AK. his line doesn't make too much sense for AA or a Tx hand as we'd expect a bet on the flop, that also makes me more inclined to shove.

I think that's very wrong. At NL25 I used to 100% check here with a 10, and I expect most slowplaying donks to do the same. His line is very much consistent with AT or JT. AA I think is more inclined to bet flop but still some people slowplay that. I call river raise but expect to be beaten a fair amount, and rarely expect to see AK/AQ.

I'm not saying i would shove, i'm just saying i don't think it's bad considering the hands people will show up with at this level. I think it's a bit bad to dismiss AQ/AK too much, this is 25nl remember.

Point taken about checking behind on the flop with a Tx hand, I do agree with you there, my thought process was a bit messed up when i wrote that probably. However KT and QT are still likely enough imo. Though while AT and JT may fit his line, KQ also fits it perfectly.

Still without reads i'm just calling.

you played it well. I'm not really sure if I would've gone broke here or not.

Anyone else consider occasionally leading out on this flop for the purpose of appearing to be donk-betting or stealing?

Leading out is fine against someone either who won't cbet very often, or against someone who is bluffy enough not to give any respect to donk bets. On a board like that though I like to let AK type hands fire rather than give them a chance to fold.

classick, i probably lead half the time since a. i dont wanna always c/r with my monsters because i don't do it often enough as a bluff and b. they often simply dont bet to make a c/r viable as you'd be aware.
