Default 100nl 3bet pot, ace hits turn

Villain is 18/14/1.5 over 50 hands or so. No specific reads but he's been raising fairly liberally pf from late position. What's important here imo is that my table stats are 48/43/5 over 50 hands. I've been on a shit hot run of cards, not getting out of line and I think any showdowns have so far were generally the goods.

Firstly, any thoughts to the cbet on the flop? I'm the first to admit I'm bad in 3bet pots, so is this an ok spot to do it (obv I'm worried about the image I may have)? If not, what kind of board are we looking for?

Thinking the cbet on the flop should fold out most AK-AJ type hands, is this a mandatory turn bet here (bearing in mind it's not far off the remaining stacks in the pot)? With no real reads should I just be giving up like I did or is a shove (or big bet anyway) massively +ev?

After I check the turn, I can't ever bet the river right? He's calling a huge range there I think.

1 fold, CO bets $3.50, Hero bets $12, 2 folds, CO calls $8.50.

Flop: ($25.5, 2 players)

Looks like he is playing JJ or QQ scared of KK or AA.

bear in mind I have a J, and I'd expect QQ-KK to either 4bet or raise the flop.

Well I don't know for sure that they are seeing me as a maniac. The weaker players at the table might but this guy should be solid enough to see through the small sample. I haven't shown down any crazy hands.

If I was at a table with someone like that and they hadn't shown down anything and it was only 50 hands, I'd be well aware it could just be a run of cards in a small sample.
