Default NL25: AQs with air

Villain is 26/6/4 and has shown down mainly suited or connected cards, obviously really loves playing for draws.

So obviously a few limpers deserve raising with my strong hand PF, but no doubting 1 maybe 2 callers.

On the flop, I really don't think anyone here is that strong to have overpair, so I bet out expecting folds mainly.

On the turn I have a tough decision I think. This drawing type of guy might have called with top pair with a JTs type hand and won't let go, or might have QJs/87s and won't let go. A medium pocket pair is not impossible either. I think a strong enough hand would have started betting back by now, but I'm just not 100% sure.

So I decide that if I bet again I'll be representing overpair, and will pretty much get called down by any 2 pair/trips/overpairs/maybe storng draws, but should fold out most top pair/mid pair/mid pockets/weak draws. I haven't planned ahead for any action other than a fold just yet.

Is this complete spew?

pretty much dude, you said it yourself, violating FTOP, folding worse and nothing you beat.

way better spots to double barrel. I dont mind firing the flop occasionally on boards like this if you think they'll go away but i dont like a double barrel on this turn. generally from my experience if they're gonna c/c the flop with a draw they're gonna c/c a psb on the turn too, great for vbetting but not so great as a bluff.

I cbet that flop almost always.

That turn card changed nothing on a fairly dry board. I'd say he mostly has a made hand of some kind and probably isn't folding the turn. You may fold out pairs under a 9 but that's about it.

A king would be a good card to double barrel. You want the card to have changed something that would make their hand ranges (that call flop) feel weaker.

forgot to mention that... A/K is textbook perfect card to double barrel.
