dave :
I forgot to mention I had 200$ in front of me, BB had something like 110$ preflop.
(Note : the max buy in at the 1-2 table is 200$ which is very gay, but it's not the question here)

I like the 75% fold, 15% raise, 10% call very much but like you said, table dynamics.

Like J said : you need to vary it a little bit. On a tight table, you will get calls from mid pocket pairs, AQ, AK, AND KQ. AK might reraise, but might also call if player is very tight and passive.

So any flop that looks like J-9-4 rainbow, a C bet should take it. Representing strenght early position + follow bet, depending on player, it's a fold for AK, AQ, low pocket, AND KQ. But im the bettor, he has to give me credit for something. If you get reraised preflop, you fold. 11$ is 5% of your stack. It's very hard for pocket 7's to reraise all in here or make a big raise eitehr preflop or on the flop. It takes lots of guts / reads.

If you only play AA KK AK and QQ utg, the same way (eitehr limp/reraise a raise) or raise preflop, you become predictable and it's all over. I'll call up to 7% of my stack late with suited connectors / pocket pair cuz I know I'll bust you (implied odds = huge) if I flop a str8, a flush, a set, if I have a str8 + flush draw, and even a pair + flush / str8draw, i might be very aggressive.

you had top pair decent kicker, why fold? I doubt the villian has AK, KK, a set of 6's or 4's maybe.

I don't know if I was beat, and I'll never know but some thoughts

-Villain called then folded to a flop bet a few times when someone raised preflop. Happened a few times.
-He never checked raised before

When he checked the flop, I said "Did you hit ? I hit. I got the king." Then betted. That's when he reraised all in, pretty fast. But it's a detail that can be interpreted in a million different ways.

Maybe, I'll never know... Like I said, it kinda irrelevant because it's the "I think he thinks that I think he thinks" cycle

One other hand though, a lot after this one, against another player, I folded the same hand (KQ), top pair, he reraised all in, and had AK. Just calling a preflop raise. 3 handed...
