Default Hitting low trips on the flop

I've seen this villain on a lot of NL25 tables, so he's a bit of a grinder. Very interesting stats: 25/19/2, but flop AF = 5.5, turn and river = 1, so he likes to take a hand at the flop.

I really didn't like the sizing of the bet, but I was scared a bet OOP on the flop and then a strong bet on the turn = monster and I've leave with next to nothing for my set. Also the river was a bit of a scare card, but I can only see him raising 77/A7s/K7s here to hit the straight, so not too bad.

How do I extract more without scaring off our usually aggressive villain?

I'd say bet $2 on the flop to build it a little more, if he's calling $1.50 he won't fold for $2. Then I would bet around 2/3 pot on the turn, so about $5 into $7, make him pay incorrect odds if he has any draw or has hit a pair of kings. Then value bet the river, about 1/4-1/3 pot (~$5 of the now ~$16ish pot because of rake).

However, given his AF of 5 on the flop (meaning he bets/raises 5x more than he flat calls), I would be inclined to check it to him and let him cbet, which most likely would be at least $2, and I call. Then I would lead the betting on the turn and river just as in my first paragraph, because an AF of 1 would suggest he would slow down and check after getting a call to his cbet, but it also suggests that he calls just as often.

Only reason I prefer to check to him is because of his high AF on the flop, meaning whenever he sticks around on the flop, it is much less likely to be a flat call than a cbet.

why dont you c/r the flop given that he loves to cbet?

bet/bet/bet is an okay line too, but you need to bet a lot more on every street. 3/7/17 or something would be way better than 1.5/2.5/3.5

Flop: bet $2, making a $7 pot
Turn: brings a double flush draw, bet $5 at least - $17 pot
River: i'm not sure what he has to call both the flop and the turn with. if it's something like KQs/KTs you might get a real sized bet out of him on the river. if he busted a flush draw, then you shouldn't even get a value bet from him, tbh. even if he had A8, i'm not sure you could get a call on the river.

doesn't matter i guess, a value bet here is another $5, giving you a $27 pot. if you can get something closer to half pot out of him, $9 say, that's a $35 pot.

i think the key is 2/3 on the flop, and then bet bigger on the turn to protect against the draws.

bet harder on all streets to extract more value.

80-100% of the pot on the flop.

3/4 pot bet on turn, and river.
