Default NL25 lots of outs

Quite early on for this table, no stats or reads on villain, but he has folded almost everything so far, so I believe he is tight preflop and probably has something decent here. I don't think the shove is a full house, as he'd be hoping I'd hit a draw and call him on the river if he thinks I'm going for a draw.

It's -ev to call his shove, so it's a fold I assume. Could I have played this better to make sure a call was +ev or not forcing him to shove the turn?

Though you do have a potentially huge draw you dont have odds to call turn, especially with a paired board so yeah its a fold.
I think you played hand perfectly against this villain given your impression of him.
Against more TAG/LAG players who I feel are both capable of folding alot of the hands they raise the flop with I like 3betting to $15 or just shoving this draw. I don't think any option is necessarily better. Different people will react differently and I would try to raise the same amount you would with a made hand.

E.g. If a guy can raise the flop with a straight draw, any Q or sometimes different pocket pairs and fold everything worse than AQ to our shove it is very +Ev shove.

is the PF raise standard from this position?

As far as the hand, villain is showing a lot of strength, especially given your read that he's tight - he called a pf raise from UTG and check-raised your flop bet. However, his shove shows he probably doesn't want a call because if he hit the boat he could easily get your stack over the course of the next street, rather than getting it in on the turn.

I agree with Wota that the odds aren't there though. Break-even with 13 outs is about 2.5:1.

What do we think villain might be holding here? A7s? AQ, maybe?

Not a standard raise no, but it's a pretty solid SC, 5 handed. I'll pick up the blinds here quite often too on some tables. Basically anyone who's paying real attention (probably nobody is though) will notice players like me raise a lot from the button but not much from EP. So EP raise = monster. I like to mix that up just a little bit, to make sure not all my EP raises are with monsters, but on some tables this would be an instant fold for me.

As for the hand, very donkish call, very donkish resut, i hit the flush. I definitely need to learn to fold this if I'm to improve, plus calculate pot odds on the spot. My thoughts were "Well I have a lot of outs, call"
