Would like to know villains stats. Can see him doing this with any pocket pair 66-99 as well as a few things that beat us. The fact that he is calling down and he has a pretty big stack makes me think middle pocket pair.

I like stacking off QQ+ as an overpair, or against some LAG players, TT is a solid overpair.

More than anything I think you need to work at getting some reads. Most of these posts are either fine or terrible depending on the type of villain you are up against.

If you don't have stats, watch the table when you aren't in the pot and make notes everytime you see some out of the usual play, like raising too often PF, calling down 3 streets with middle pair, or calling big bets PF with weak hands OOP.

Reason I don't usually have reads is for some reason PT when it reads hands makes my comp slower than a mofo...or GT+ just randomly closes.

Just make sure you run PT in the background on not active on your desktop. Minimizing it works for me. I have never had problems with GT+. I honestly dont see how you are playing without stats. It is so helpful.

Try running PT where it only imports hands ever 2 or 3 minutes or something.

Will do, ty..didn't think it being minimized would make a difference.

I just noticed that it lags like that when I try to maximize it to look at it. Helps to not be constantly looking at it...lol. I just run it now so I can have stats through GT+. I try not to look at it so much anymore. When I try to bring it up while it is importing it always lagged so bad I would miss my play on my tables and it would sit me out. Got annoying. Thats when I stopped checking it so much and just minimized it down to the toolbar.

I deliberately turned stats off for the last couple of weeks and relied on watching the tables closer and making notes. I think it's helped my player reading immensely, and I think you get more quality reads than just looking at GT+ stats.

A couple of other tips I read on 2+2 that I'm trying to implement:
- If you miss half a hand which now has a big pot, click on the previous hand as soon as it's finished to find out who bet, what they bet with, what it was called with etc. Going through a big pot should give you excellent tips to how a player plays a strong made hand or draw
- Sit out a couple of orbits to go through PT and see if you missed something important, again make notes as soon as you see anything unusual (haven't tried this yet, probably will next session)
