You need some pretty strong reads to lay down AKs pf to a re-raise. In position.

I don't mind taking a flop in position sometimes but for ~100bb I'm quite happy to put in a 4bet to about $1.80-2. A shove seems a tad excessive to me, but there are good arguments for 4bet shoving as long as you do it with AA/KK as well.

At this level putting in a 4bet and going broke is fine as they'll spew off their cash with way worse. I think if you are calling you have to be prepared to play back at them depending on the board texture as alot of the time you'll miss and you don't wanna just be folding alot if they're the type to cbet a fair bit.

Depending on the opponent, calling more often can be more +ev as well if they're the type to 3bet light OOP but fold alot to the 4bet, and also the type to cbet a wide range in a 3bet pot OOP. You'll find those guys as you go through 50nl (probably a few at 25nl as well) but mainly at the micros you're better off sticking it in while you are most likely crushing their range, you'll be amazed at what they play back at you with.
