Default Wota? What can I do?

Villian is a 14/7/2, 500+ hands

On the flop I I raise planning to fold 2 any raise or shove, and if called checking the turn and reevaluate on the river, problem is I really put this player on 6/6 and 9/9 but had the river not given me 2 fair I intended to fold 2 a bet of this size.

Em I forced to call this river or can I ever fold? As you can see I didnt raise all in river and I used my time bank, like he has always 6/6 and 9/9 here right?
Do we like raising the flop 2 see where we are if we intend to fold to a shove and raise?

Btw Normally I 3bet here but wanted 2 change it up a bit.

And turn TPTK into a bluff? No.

I just call flop.

If I had a $ for every time you used this phrase I'd be playing 5/10 comfortably

I agree flop is a call but good god david every time you raise without the nuts it is not turning your hand in to a bluff!

Putting in 1/3 of effective stacks and folding with TPTK (on that kind of board) is such a bad move. You should save that kind of move for when you have 45s or something.

I may say it alot but putting that much of your stack in with the intention of folding is a bluff, and if you have excellent showdown value it's a very very very bad play.

So what's your reasoning for calling flop then instead of raising?
