Default NL10 multi draws on turn

Not running with stats for the moment, but CO is a passive donk, but only been on table for a couple of minutes, so hard to tell just how bad.

Does anyone play this differently until the river, which is horrible, i beat next to nothing there. It just seems in position I can check behind on the turn to get a free card, and escape cheaply when nothing hits. Or is betting correct here to get a possible fold from weak hands or build up for a big pot if one of the many outs hits on the river?

I honestly pot the turn. They have fold equity and we have very good draws.

Bet bigger on the flop too.

I think river is close, I'm not sure if we are ever really ahead here IF he is loose passive

Flop - I would bet more

Turn - Either check behind or bet more. If we view him as a loose passive donk he doesn't fold a king or a ten and we can't be sure he folds even AJ/AK, he calls with 89 which is good as we beat it, he might fold pairs 99 and lower which he called flop with. I don't tend to double barrel these types of players without a hand but I will value bet pretty thin. However alot of winning players feel these players are ideal candidates to fire multiple barrels against since they call flop with any piece but may struggle to call bigger bets with underpairs/mid pairs etc.

River - I wouldn't be surprised if he has same hand as you here. Call at 5-1.
