Obviously a dangerous flop, but I felt I had to cbet as they both checked and I'd shown aggression preflop. Is this correct or should I rely more on the flop texture?

Firstly, it would be nice to know if these guys check/call or check/raise with monsters. If that's the case I'd check as you could be way behind with no chance of shaking them.

If they always bet with marginal hands, you might be safe here, but you'd still be getting called quite often with the flush/gutshot/pair/2 pair that they have.

Without information on them, I'd probably check here, and bet if they both check the turn, as it would have to be assumed they really are weak if they haven't at least bet small by then.
