Default 50nl What's the cold-callers range here?

Villain is 22/20/5 over 200 hands datamined. I don't recognise the screen-name and I haven't played UB in ages so doubt he knows who I am, I'm new to the table and have pretty much folded for the first round.

MP is 40/22/4, a little bit donkish.

What range do you give this guy when he cold calls out of the blind pf?

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.50 BB (6 handed) Hand History converter Courtesy of Poker coaching - Get an online poker lesson - texas holdem strategy for real poker

MP ($30.20)
CO ($80.95)
Hero ($50.90)
SB ($25.60)
BB ($117.10)
UTG ($47.40)

Preflop: Hero is Button with , .
1 fold, MP raises to $2, 1 fold, Hero raises to $7, 1 fold, BB calls $6.50, MP folds.

Flop: ($16.25) , , (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $12.5

He seems to be tight enough to be playing a narrow range, I think the only reason he isnt raising PF is that you beat him to it.

May be set mining with small pp's but I would put him on 99+, AQs+, AKo. I think if he was going to try and bluff a worse hand here he would have reraised you before the flop.

AcQc? his range for cold calling could be AQs AKo 1010+ Think he folds anything less than 99... maybe SC if he is a tricky son of a bitch.

It is TT-QQ more often than not in my experience, sometimes AK for some player, sometimes AA/KK though most reraise as they dont want to play those hands 3way preflop.
Either way bet/folding this flop is the only option.

Well obv without reads it's difficult, but if you're playing the hand you're gonna have to assign him some sort of range. That was the question.

Yeah that's pretty much what I figured, although I gave AK a much higher possibility. I was thinking 99-JJ (with QQ obv being less likely given I have 2 of them) and AK, and sometimes AA/KK.

Basically, the range I was thinking of, I was way ahead/way behind which makes me question my flop bet. Can I ever check this and hope he has a bluff with the hands I beat?

The draw heaviness of the flop is enough reason to bet. However, the problem is we can easily get c/r on this flop by a very wide range.
